**Introduction**

An exciting opportunity to join TfW as an Estates Surveyor to assist in the management of TfW's land and property estate, supporting the delivery of infrastructure schemes through investigations into land ownership and acquisition of land where required for the project.

**Role responsibilities**

You'll support TfW in the management of the land and property portfolio, by liaising with the Portfolio Manager as well as the wider Estates Team and consultant resource to ensure effective management of TfW's freehold title.

You'll support other TfW directorates in connection with the development of rail infrastructure projects, via regular face to face meetings with the Project Delivery Teams to enable the projects to be delivered on target and on time.

You'll oversee the day-to-day management of the land and property portfolio by undertaking inspections to ensure compliance with lease terms.

**Who we are looking for**

You'll need to:

- Hold a Degree in Real Estate, Estates Management, Property Agency (or similar), or be a recently qualified chartered surveyor (or on APC pathway).
- Have experience of portfolio management.
- Have experience of working with key stakeholders and effective relationship management.
- Have the ability to write case studies and coherent reports and present proposals to stakeholders.
- Hold a full UK Driver's Licence.
