    Multi-Skilled Operative (Responsive Repairs)

    Salary:

    £36,051.38 per annum

    Location:

    On site with base in Stafford

    Hours:

    40 hours per week, Permanent

    We're looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Operative to join our Responsive Repairs team. In this role, you'll be carrying out high-quality maintenance work across our properties, helping us deliver safe, well-maintained homes and excellent service to our residents.What you'll do:

    • Carry out all the traditional duties of a multi-skilled trade person, including plumbing, carpentry, wet trades and building plus related finishes, patching and making good tasks, as requested by the Responsive Repairs Supervisor
    • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, on time, and in line with health and safety regulations.
    • Managing your workload effectively; from planning visits and using electronic job orders to keeping accurate records.
    • Maintaining tools, equipment, and van stock to ensure you're always prepared for the job.
    • Working professionally in tenants' homes, providing excellent customer service at all times.
    • Taking part in the out-of-hours rota when required.

    What we're looking for:

    • Have a suitable City and Guilds NVQ trade qualification (or equivalent).
    • Substantial experience in maintenance preferably within a Housing Association background
    • Skills in related trades with the ability to "make good" to a high standard.
    • Strong knowledge of health & safety practices.
    • Ability to use tablets and electronic scheduling systems.
    • A full UK driving licence.
    • Excellent communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to plan your work effectively.
