Description
This is a full time position for an ASAP or Easter start for a 1 year maternity contract.

Salary is depending on years experience and is on the MPS/UPS London fringe scale.


The successful applicant will:

  • Plan, prepare and teach KS3 to KS4 Science, with a specialism in Chemistry
  • Maintain high standards in their work, ensuring consistently good outcomes for pupils
  • Assist in promoting a creative and innovative approach to the teaching of Science
  • Promote an understanding of Science, which stimulates a joy of learning
  • Develop understanding and respect for others in a diverse school setting
  • Have the ability to inspire, motivate and challenge all learners
  • Make positive use of technology in the delivery of learning
  • Contribute to the school's broad extracurricular programme

We would prefer a qualified teacher with previous experience of teaching in a secondary school environment and a specalisim in Chemsitry but this is not essential.
