Assembler/Fitter

1x - Production Department

  • Rental Department**
    Hours of work:Monday-Thursday 7:15am4:30pm, Friday 7:30am11:30am

Pay Rate:
£11-£14 per hour


Location:
Redditch


Immediate Start, Temp-Perm
Working with a well-known company, who are leading manufacturers and dealers for FLT's, Bendi's, VNA and Pallet Trucks. As a Workshop Fitter, you will be maintaining and assembling parts where needed. A range of mechanical, electrical and automotive skills.

Job Role:_

  • Work technically and methodically to assemble FLT parts including Gearboxes, Fuse Boxes
  • Installing mechanical and electrical components
  • Fault finding
  • Knowledge of hydraulics (advantage)
  • Understand drawings, instructions and specifications
  • Using tools where needed

Experience:_

  • Experience of working within the manufacturing industry (advantage)
  • A good knowledge of following drawings/specifications
  • Hydraulic knowledge
  • Mechanically minded
  • Have worked in a similar technical environment, putting components together


We are looking for someone who is mechanically minded, has either had similar roles previously, or looking to pursue passions of working with large automotives, working with hydraulics, technical, mechanical and electrical.

In house training for specific skills will be provided for the right person.


Job Types:
Full-time, Temp to perm

Contract length: 12 weeks


Salary:
£11.00-£14.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Redditch: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Mechanical assembly: 2 years (preferred)
