SALARY:
£30,000 per annum


HOURS:37 hours per week Monday to Friday


CONTRACT:
Permanent


REPORTING TO:
Head of Asset Management

Elim Housing Group is a provider of affordable housing and support services in the West of
England and Gloucestershire. We are looking for a Compliance Office to join our Asset
Management Team at our Head Office in Rudgeway.

The Compliance Officer is Elim's dedicated statutory compliance administrator, ensuring Elim maintains a safe environment for our customers, colleagues and the public.


What you will do:


  • Ensure all Elim policies and procedures regarding compliance are adhered to by Elim and our contractors. This includes the coordination of our testing regime and approach to gas, electric, fire risk assessments, fire doors, asbestos, water management, pressure vessels, lightening conductors, powered doors & gates and lifts.
  • Ensure that compliance information for existing and new properties is properly recorded and managed using Elim's compliance workbook.
  • Have input into component replacement programmes related to compliance.
  • Provide weekly compliance reports which accurately show the status of all compliance related works to the Head of Asset Management.
  • Compile relevant KPI reports for the Development and Assets Committee and The
Board, and achieve individual and team KPI's.


What you will need to be successful:

  • A good understanding of the need for properties to be safe and to meet statutory compliance standards in all areas. This will include good knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act etc. 197
  • Significant previous relevant administration experience.
  • A good level of skill in the use of Microsoft Office, with a particular level of competence in the use of excel.
  • A proactive approach to improving the statutory compliance of the association, and experience of identifying and implementing continuous improvement.
  • Experience in data entry to deliver efficient and accurate administration and communication services.
