Homeless Health Visitor - Redhill, United Kingdom - First Community Health and Care
Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health Visitor to cover a Maternity Leave post and to develop a specialist HV role in the community as part of a Surrey-wide service to improve access to health for children and families who are experiencing homelessness, as well as asylum seekers and refugees and Gypsy, Romany and Traveller communities in the county.
All three groups face multiple barriers to healthcare.
The Inclusion Health Team is a funded service now approaching its fifth year and has produced a number of successful and ongoing developments, with more planned for 2023.
The successful applicant will support the team lead in the delivery of community support to vulnerable families via telephone, virtual and face to face contacts, where required.
