As one of the leading Further Education Colleges within the West Midlands, we have a brilliant opportunity for an expert within Functional Skills to join us on an ongoing and hourly-paid basis reporting into the Head of Apprenticeships - Delivery and Development.


As part of this role, you will ensure sound working knowledge of apprenticeship funding rules in relation to apprenticeship delivery and Functional Skills compliance, whilst pro-actively working towards the Ofsted EIF.

You will support quality improvement plans by collaborating with the vocational team to embed Maths and English across the apprenticeship provision.


Preparing innovative teaching materials and delivering engaging teaching and learning, you will be a driven individual who is enthusiastic about Functional Skills and supporting students achieve their goals.


To be successful you will have a recognised teaching qualification, (L5 or above) and experience of working within Maths and English at Level 2 and Study Skills at Level 3 within Further Education across a wide range of vocational areas.

You will be inspirational in your teaching and demonstrate the ability to motivate our learners to achieve their targets and career ambitions.
