CME Group have recently entered into a long-term strategic partnership with Google Cloud that will transform global derivatives markets, by migrating our technology infrastructure to Google Cloud (GCP) and becominga fully cloud based company.

Staff will have opportunity to become GCP certified.
At CME, Internal mobility and flexibility are a key part to our agile approach to technology delivery.

Principal Accountabilities:

Analyse and decompose business/stakeholder requirements.
Involved in test strategy, planning & execution/implementation of automated test cases
Maintain test framework, test environments and automated test packs
Contribute to continuous improvement, improving team processes and methodologies, and following best practices.

Essential Criteria:

Experience writing automated tests
Ability to understand complex business requirements quickly, and to define clear acceptance criteria using Given, When, Then syntax
Basic competency with Linux/GIT
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problemsolving skills

Desirable Criteria:

Use of BDD technology like Cucumber
Knowledge of financial markets, financial messaging protocols, and in particular FIX.
Working in an Agile environment, using Confluence, JIRA, or other Atlassian tools.
Jenkins / Ansible / Python / Shellscripting experience are a bonus
