Position Overview


The Global Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) team at State Street provides enterprise leadership for State Street's ESG program, including strategy, policy, disclosure, governance, partnerships, and climate.

The team is seeking an individual to support State Street's ESG corporate reporting and disclosure responsibilities and activities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • ESG Report
  • Support the creation of the annual ESG report through project management activities such as scheduling meetings and ensuring milestones are met
  • Partner with external assurance firm to verify statements and claims within ESG report
  • Perform quality control, editing, and proofreading tasks
  • Partner with external writers and designers on the development and production of the ESG report
  • Track and process payments and invoices to ESG report vendors
  • ESG Data Management
  • Maintain ESG data and track approvals in the central data platform
  • Utilize data to inform responses to DDQs, RFPs, industry surveys and questionnaires
Job Requirements and Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, 5 years of experience, financial services preferred
  • Ability to perform project management across a complex organization and in partnership with external vendors
  • Must be selfmotivated, adaptable and show initiative in different circumstances and under pressure
  • Diligent worker with strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast paced, and collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
