I am currently recruiting for a Tenancy Support Worker to work on behalf of a leading public sector organisation based in Sheffield.
You will be joining the Temporary Accommodation team as a Tenancy Support Worker.

Temporary accommodation is an ever-growing team and temporarily rehouses some of the most vulnerable single adults and families within the city.

They currently have four Temporary Accommodation sites and several dispersed properties throughout the wholeof Sheffield.

The focus of the role is to prevent homelessness, we want to provide safe accommodation helping and supporting people to manage their temporary tenancies, which may lead to a permanent successful tenancy in the future.

You will also have experience or awareness of housing support needs for vulnerable people, and issues that lead to homelessness, you must understand the importance and benefits of working in partnership with internal and external providers

They are a small, dedicated team who cover (on a rota basis) three of our Temporary Accommodation sites, they work remotely and out in the community.

You would need to be comfortable travelling around the city and working with vulnerable people on theirown, and with the support of a team.

They are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and vulnerable adults and expect all staff to share this commitment.

You will be required to complete an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.

The earliest start time would be 07:45, however, this is covered on a rota basis, the latest finish time is 17:00 Monday to Friday.
