Do you have experience of working in a fast paced team and have a passion for Purchase Ledger?


An exciting opportunity has risen in the Purchase Ledger team for an administrator to be responsible for supporting the team in their daily duties which will include data entry, full supplier statement reconciliations and answering queries.


What you'll be doing:


  • Reconciling all supplier statements that have been received in Purchase Ledger and requesting copies of statements for those suppliers who we have transacted with but not received a statement for. To actively seek out missing invoices and chase for approval or a resolution to the query so that these invoices can be processed onto the relevant system for payment. To troubleshoot on any other transactional entries.
  • Assisting the Purchase Ledger team to ensure invoices are processed accurately and in line with company guidelines and controls in order to pay suppliers as the invoices fall due.
  • Supporting the Purchase Ledger team at month end and during other busy periods, ensuring that all processes are complete.

What you'll bring:


  • Good understanding of Purchase Ledger processes, finance systems and reporting tools
  • Confident and capable to an intermediate level using Excel
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable and logical thinker with excellent communication skills and high work standards
  • Be able to work solely or as a team in a rapidly changing environment
