Procurement Specialist | Remote | £34,150 - £41,706 per annum | 6 month FTC

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working exclusively with a leading national Public sector organisation, to recruit a Procurement Specialist.

This organisation operates a remote working policy allowing for home working throughout the duration of the contract.


This position would suit an individual with public sector procurement experience, displaying public contract regulations knowledge and usage of frameworks.


Role:

  • Work within the clinical category
  • Manage the procurement process from start to contract award
  • Advise stakeholders and answer any questions/queries
  • Prepare tender documentation and execute under and over threshold tenders
  • Negotiate with suppliers to drive best value to the organisation
  • Work under national frameworks

Person:


  • Public procurement knowledge is essential
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience is ideal
  • Potential for an extension/ permanent employment
