This is an exciting opportunity to become the Co-ordinator for EAST SCITT (School-Centred Initial Teacher Training). We would like to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills.

This important role will involve working with the central SCITT team, trainees and our partnership schools to support the day-to-day operation and administrative support of EAST SCITT.

The post will be based at Kesgrave High School, and plays a key part in ensuring the co-ordination, recruitment, administration and pastoral support of our teacher training programmes to the highest possible standard.

You will work as part of the central SCITT team, consisting of the SCITT Director, the Primary Programme Lead and the Secondary Programme Lead.

You will also work closely with our cohort of trainees, SCITT tutors, school mentors, governance members and all of those involved in the delivery of our teacher training programmes.

You should have a good general standard of education, and experience of working in a client facing administrative role.

Alternatively, you may have experience and skills in a relatable role and may wish to develop your expertise in a new but similar area of work.

You will be approachable, enthusiastic, resilient and organised with a strong commitment to education, and able to work effectively in a team and liaise with a wide range of partners.

Along with the booklet, we hope we have provided you with the information you require to build a good understanding of the advertised role.

We are committed to the care and professional development of all individuals who work in our schools and trust. A compassionate approach to all individuals is expected of our trust's employees. You can find out more about the benefits of working for EAST in the Applicant Information Booklet.
