Job detailsAre you passionate about planning and looking for a new challenge? If so, we want to hear from you. Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Production Planner, and this fulltime role comes with a salary of £34,000 p/a and excellent benefits.

As a Production Planner, you'll work weekdays from 05:00 - 14:00 and Monday - Friday 10:00 - 19:00 the following week.

You will work in a busy FMCG factory environment, which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.

In your first few weeks in this Production Planner role, you can expect to:

Create and manage daily scheduling processes ensuring planned targets are met
Be the pivotal interface between planning (supply management) and production to ensure ontime delivery of customer orders
Provide key support to production management on daily operational deliverance
Undertake Material management and utilisation, including WIP management
Provide commercial focus on minimising waste and optimising raw material usage
Ability to solve problems pro actively and make effective decisions
Good accuracy and attention to detail
A logical thinker with strong numerical, analytical and evaluation skills
High standard of IT skills and advanced Excel knowledge
Previous Production Planning experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
