The Lettings Team is part of the Strategy and Resources Directorate within Shared Services - Business Support Centre. The team manages the traded service arrangements for hire of School, Academy, Children's centre and Community centre premises. We are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Team Leader. This is a key role within our team that requires someone with proven abilities, skills and knowledge in the following areas;

  • Excellent communications skills, providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders
  • Contributing to, motivating, developing and supervising a team.
  • Identifying actions leading to improvement, developing and implementing work processes to improve work organisation and effectiveness.
  • Excellent organisational skills effectively planning, delegating and monitoring workloads to deliver desired outcomes.
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Working knowledge of the Councils financial systems Civica and FMS.
  • Has an understanding of customer management and is able to communicate effectively with elected members and a wide range of people, delivering key information to target audiences
- is able to lead and develop a team
- can organise and prioritise their own work as well as the work of team members to ensure that strict deadlines are met
- has experience of internal and external invoicing using the Councils systems

The post involves considerable interaction with members of the public.

The post is temporary for 18 months.
