Finance Manager

Location - Blackburn
Salary - £55,000 DOE

Simpson Judge are working with rapidly commercial law firm, with offices based in Blackburn.

Responsibilities:

The effective management of the finance department and the management of all financial aspects for the company
Daily management, motivation, training and appraisals of finance team, reviewing all processes and procedures regularly
Attending and reporting to Partner's meetings on performance against plan and recommendations for efficiencies and improvements.
Production of timely monthly and quarterly Management information and accounts from Xero finance system
Reporting on cost/ relative profitability of each Fee Earner and assisting Partner in setting appropriate remuneration packages and bonus arrangements.
Utilisation of Leap system to produce required information for Xero
Ensure accurate and impeccable financial records
Production of annual budgets in accordance with Firm's strategy and in conjunction with Managing Partner and Office Manageress and turnover and annual profit forecasts, using firm financial software (Xero)
Overhead management timely reporting and monitoring and taking appropriate corrective action with regards to budget variances. Supervision and management of the purchase ledger expenditure.
Support the management team in financial planning for strategic plans and business planning
Cashflow forecasting and effective reporting in monthly management accounts and daily cashflow movements to Senior Partners.
