Job Summary:

An exciting new opportunity is available for keen and dedicated kitchen staff looking to work in a new fast food chain that is opening in Carnoustie.

Chicken Cottage is a well known fast food takeaway that will be up and running at the start of May We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook and kitchen staff to join our new and exciting fast food chain

The kitchen staff and Grill Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of grilled dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu and food safety standards.

Full training will be provided, yet previous work experience in a similar role is preferred.

Duties:

Prepare and cook grilled items such as burgers, wraps, fried chicken, wings etc.
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
Ensure food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively.
Monitor food levels and replenish items as needed.
Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and utensils to the upmost cleaninless and hygiene requirements.
Follow proper food handling procedures and comply with food safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Grill Cook or similar role in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred.
Knowledge of various grilling techniques and cooking methods.
Understanding of food safety practices.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Uptake and keep high levels of cleanliness.

Skills:

Experience in food preparation and culinary arts is preferred.
Familiarity with kitchen operations in a restaurant/ fast food chain setting.
Proficiency in meal preparation techniques.
Knowledge of food safety guidelines.
