The Supply Room is currently seeking dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistants to join a specialist school in Wareham, Dorset, supporting students aged 16 to 25 years with a diagnosis of Autism.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and personal development of the students.

Your previous experience, training, qualifications, and knowledge in Childcare, Education, Health & Social Care will be highly valued in this role.

Your punctuality, reliability, and full-time availability will be essential to ensure the smooth running of the school.

Within the specialist school, you will have the opportunity to work on a one-on-one basis or in small groups, primarily focusing on supporting students in various activities such as
Horticulture, Pottery, Equine Therapy, Farm School, Online Retail, and Life Skills.

This broad curriculum enables students to develop a range of skills and interests. Your passion for working with other people and commitment to their growth will be instrumental in their success.

We offer a permanent position with a 12-week temporary-to-permanent contract from day one.

The pay rate ranges from £80 to £85 per day, reflecting the value we place on your experience and dedication.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8.30am to 4.00pm, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
