    Research Fellow in Cyber Security and Digital Twins:

Job description The post-holder will investigate novel methods for analysing CPS using Digital Twin platforms, considering IT and physical aspects in tandem, alongside machine learning/AI approaches for security, with the aim to provide effective security monitoring and real-time responses that assure resilience against attacks. The post-holder will develop CPS use-cases, integrate testbeds, and perform experiments to prove novel security techniques.- Successful applicants will have responsibilities in independent research, preparation of publications, day to day management of project deliverables, and engage with funders and industrial partners.- Obtained, or be about to obtain, a PhD in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • At least 3 years of research/work experience (including PhD research) in an area related to cybersecurity, or an area related to cyber physical systems (such as systems engineering, control systems, or formal modelling) with experience related to IT systems.
  • Strong publication record, commensurate with stage of career.
