The IR(Interventional Radiology) coordinator role in the Diagnostic Imaging department at Surrey and Sussex NHS Trust is an opportunity for someone with ambition and drive to extend the scope of their practice providing administrative support on the recovery unit to ensure smooth running of the unit for patients, visitors and staff.

The Interventional service currently operates a five day a week service although there is a strong possibility to expand to six days.

A key part of the IR work is to support patients on Cancer pathways in order to provide diagnostics as early as possible in line with national waiting times.
