This 1:1 Teaching Assistant role involves supporting the progress of a child in Y2. You will be supporting the pupil 1:1 during class time to ensure academic and social developmentThe hours are:
1.00pm - 3.15pm 11.25 hours a week (5 afternoons a week)
Required as soon as possible. Experience preferred. This is a level 2 post, scale point 5.
Ideally the successful applicant will be:
- Committed to the care and progression of children with additional needs
- Adaptable with good communication skills
- Able form positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff and work as part of a team
- Have knowledge, understanding and skills associated with supporting children.
- Be a good team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Have high expectations of pupil behaviour.
- Contribute to the ethos of a friendly school, in which the personal development and wellbeing is given the highest priority and where both academic and personal qualities of children are recognised and valued.
Closing date noon on Tuesday 9th May with interviews likely to be held the same week.
