Description

An experienced Commercial Account Handler is required to join a long established City based Insurance Brokers who pride themselves on being one of the regions quality Brokers dealing with Clients locally and throughout the UK with offices based in LeedsCity Centre and Central London.

They have developed a professional and proactive Broking service for both their Corporate and Personal HNW Clients.

  • As an experienced Commercial Account Handler you will be working in a small professional and experienced team alongside Account Executives and the Directors handling a wide range of Commercial Insurance classes including Property Owners, Commercial Combined,Motor Fleet, Directors and Officers, Professional Indemnity, Marine Cargo and Credit Insurance as well as HNW Home clients.
  • You liaise with policyholders and handle any necessary adjustments to policies and negotiate with Insurers on renewal terms, prepare reports for presentation to clients and help with policy wordings, check all documentation prior to issuing to clients,there will some involvement in new business.
  • You will provide an efficient and professional service to clients using your detailed knowledge of all commercial classes of business.
  • Hours are Monday to Friday 9am5pm, based in Leeds City Centre, close to major transport links and only 5/10mintues from Leeds Train Station.

About you:


  • Experienced Insurance professional who has managed Commercial clients with a wide range of Insurance Classes
  • Exceptional customer services experience with excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Personable and easy to get along with in a team environment as well as being able to work on your own
  • Looking to work in an office environment fulltime
  • A good background and knowledge of the Insurance Industry
  • Excellent IT systems and using inhouse systems
  • Industry qualifications or keen to study towards
**up to £30k per annum, Leeds City Centre, 25 days holiday plus bank holiday, pension
