My client is a leading communications and consulting organisation that supporting large blue chips across the globe. In the last 5 years they have quadrupled in size and have opened multiple offices.
They are continuing their growth and are a disruptor in their respective market.

Due to a recent restructure, they're looking to bring in a forward-thinking and strategic minded leader to develop out their technology function even further.

Position Overview
You will be the leader and owner delivering strategic technology projects across the entire group.

The role requires a hands-on professional, who enjoys working with the IT team and wider stakeholders to create effective and efficient improvements within theorganisation.

As Head of Technology, you will be responsible for overseeing the infrastructure of technical operations, tracking the technology itself, in order to achieve goals, meet operational deadlines, increase user satisfaction, maintain operating systems, cyber anddata protection.

You will be responsible for building a best-in-class technology solution and team across the Group.

Responsibilities:

Developing and overseeing our infrastructure.
Architect strategic capacity planning to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
Coordinate I.T. activities to ensure data availability and network services with as little downtime as possible.
Implementing policies that are agreed by the Board.
Identifying security vulnerabilities and eliminating them with strategic solutions that are in line with group policy.
Work alongside the C-Suite to build the annual business plan and operating budget for the department and monitor the implementation of these to ensure that financial targets are met.
Direct, attend and participate in staff meetings and related activities; attend workshops and seminars to keep abreast of advances in information technologies.
