Job purpose
Resource management is a key operational function at Mazars which is focused on client delivery, risk management and developing our people.
The role reports into a Resource Manager and oversees deployment of c200 resources across the UK in a high growth business.
There is a high degree of change management, process set up, and independent working required in the role.There are no line management responsibilities.
Roles & Responsibilities
Resource Allocation
- Responsible for deployment of resources to client demand, focusing on Corporate Assistants on the Resourcing tool, Retain.
- Understands the skills and experience of staff to enable allocation decisions, in particular
- Prioritises resources during peak periods to ensure quality client delivery, in consultation with the Resource Manager.
- Deals with basic escalations and conflicting demands, escalating further to the Resource Manager or Department Leader.
- Ensures all nonclient commitments including training is reflected correctly on the Resourcing scheduling Works closely with the Early Careers team to understand training pathways and new trainee intakes.
- Monitors utilisation levels, capacity, unstaffed hours and Retain accuracy, under guidance from the Resource Manager.
- Supports the planning process including review of planning sheets and importing of data into the Resourcing scheduling tool, and assists in clash resolution process.
- Updates the headcount tracker for known moves including joiners and
- Provides ad hoc reporting to engagement teams, as
- Reviews data accuracy & provides data cleansing, as
- Allocates portfolios for new joiners, considering their skills and
- Helps to onboard new joiners and provide training on our resourcing tool and operational excellence expectations.
- Workforce planning / resource deployment experience essential, ideally within a professional services / consulting environment.
