Primary Teaching Assistant

U-Educate are currently looking for Primary SEN Teaching Assistants for schools-based in Birmingham. We currently offer day to day and short/long term roles based on your preference.

For primary teaching assistant roles will require you to have experience within early years and /or KS 1 and KS2.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supervision of students on a 1:1 or small group basis
Provide additional learning support as identified
Engage, motivate and encourage students to complete work set
Make sure all students are focused and on track to meet their lesson objectives
Support the class teacher to manage classroom behaviour
Provide feedback to the classroom teacher on student's progress and development

Requirements:

Previous teaching assistant experience
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
Ability to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to work with children
Up to date Safeguarding Training (You can undertake a free course with Ueducate if you have not got a safeguarding certificate dated within the last 12 months)
