Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children with emotional and complex needs?

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Support Worker to join my clients team.

In this role, you will be working closely with children aged 10 to 16 who have challenging behaviours, providing them with the support and care they need to thrive.


Responsibilities:


  • Building positive and trusting relationships with children
  • Providing emotional support and guidance
  • Implementing behaviour management techniques
  • Assisting with daily living tasks
  • Collaborating with therapists and other professionals to create a holistic support plan for each child

Requirements:


  • Previous experience working with children with emotional and complex needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations
  • Understanding of behaviour management strategies
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fastpaced environment
Previous experience working with vulnerable children and/or young adults is required.
This can be on a professional, volunteer or personal basis.

Full flexibility is required to cover the shifts and sleep ins


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£10.75-£11.50 per hour
