You will work under the supervision of a senior accountant within the business. We aim to offer you variety of work to enhance your learning experience.

You may work for private companies and individuals, charities and not for profit organisations, medicalpractices both NHS and private and other healthcare providers.

Fully funded ACCA or ACA training will be provided along with a competitive salary and the potential to progress your career further, following successful completion.

Hours per week to include 1 day in training or study

Summary of Responsibilities and Duties
Completion of administrative / finance duties.

These can include some or all of the following:


  • Preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Preparation and completion of accounts, tax forms and returns
  • Audits
  • Bookkeeping
  • Administration
  • Assisting with payroll preparation
  • Meet the demands of qualification requirements and work with the training provider to ensure qualification is obtained within set timescales
  • Attend college/training provider as and when required
  • Meet deadlines of college/training provider
  • Maintain confidential (manual and electronic) filing systems to ensure that accurate up to date information is available
  • Respond to information requests relating to the finance service
  • Undertake filing, photocopying, collation of information and general clerical work
  • Undertake standard wordprocessing, presentation work, spreadsheet work and database input as required
  • Data accuracy and data checking
  • Comply with Health and Safety requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • 5 or more GCSEs at grade C or above to include Maths and English
  • Good A/AS Level results ideally at least one in maths or accounting
  • Integrity and discretion
  • Computer literate

Desired Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • IT skills and ability to work with online accounting software
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
