An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Information Governance professional to join a specialist team, promoting compliance with nationally agreed standards for the quality and security of Trust information and records.

The purpose of the Information Governance (IG) team is to ensure compliance, across the Trust, with nationally defined standards for the quality and security of information and records.

The standards derive from legislation, notably the Data Protection Act/GDPR and the Freedom of Information Act 2000, and standards contained in the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit.

This role will sit within the Information Governance services
