Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, the Onboarding Co-ordinator will coordinator the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, from offer acceptance to completion of the probationary period (typically 6 months).

The Onboarding Co-ordinator will work closely with the recruitment team, hiring managers, regional support roles & functions, and the wider HR team to ensure an efficient and effective transition from hiring process to successful onboarding.


About the Role

  • Act as a central point of contact for all new starters prior to commencing employment with Sisk
  • Coordinate and initiate key activities associated with the onboarding process, ensuring all stakeholders are completing required actions in a timely manner
  • Engage frequently with line managers and other stakeholders to ensure that new starters are onboarded locally on site/in offices and line managers understand the critical nature of their role during the probationary period
  • Coordinate and facilitate centralised induction activities as required

For example:
new hire logistics, new starters packs, central functions liaison (e.g. IT), and line manager engagement

  • Develop and maintain onboarding materials to guide / upskill line managers and other roles in the process, to ensure they successfully undertake their critical roles in onboarding
  • Build strong relationships with line manager population and act as 'goto' person regarding onboarding queries
  • Gather regular feedback from new starters to measure engagement through the onboarding process and report results to HR Leadership Team, Regional/Divisional Boards as required
  • Monitor and review onboarding processes and activities to ensure they remain efficient and effective delivering value for all stakeholders, making improvements as required

About You

  • Hands on experience of coordinating HR employee lifecycle processes from start to finish
  • Experience presenting to small groups and facilitating workshops
  • Experience of working within a busy team, in a fast paced, multisite environment
  • Adept at building relationships quickly and engaging with multiple stakeholders
  • An open and proactive style with positive energy and a welcoming approach
  • Able to influence others to follow a prescribed process
  • Effective verbal & written communication skills, enabling efficient business interaction and communication to Sisk employees at all levels
  • Strong organisational skills & a strive to deliver process excellence
  • Customer focused with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and to prioritise own workload
  • A growth mindset, with the ability to handle the unknown, be resilient, learn, share, and improve
