The Head of Nursing and AHP's

  • Outpatient Services will maintain oversight across all of the Outpatient resources division wide to ensure children and young people who attend one of our clinics have their care delivered in an appropriate environment by appropriate staff, ensuring effective, safe and timely care. The post holder will provide strong leadership across the community and mental health division enabling efficient coordination of safe and skilled multi professional involvement ensuring that the trust has robust, sustainable, effective out patient governance systems and processes which comply with best practice. The post holder will also promote a culture of continuous quality improvement within all facets of the organisation to ensure best practice is achieved in the delivery of highquality patient care for children, young people and their families. Close working with the HoN for complex care and community nursing is essential to ensure smooth handovers, transitions and joint working where appropriate as well as keeping a community focus on developing a robust future proof strategy for delivering non in patient health care. The post holder will also deputise for the community and mental health division's Associate Chief Nurse as required.
