We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person who is passionate about Early Years with an excellent understanding of the curriculum and requirements.

Experience within the Early Years foundation stage is preferred as well as a commitment to outdoor learning.

Knowledge and understanding of room organisation, learning strategies and working in a free flow environment Is key to fulfil duties and therefore a nurturing and caring disposition is essential.

You need to be conscientious, well presented and have a personable approach with also good communication skills with children and colleagues, which is essential to working effectively as part of a team and in partnership with parents.

Consequently, this job role requires a proactive approach, in order to provide the best care and education for all of the children who attend our nursery.

Thus, UnitedKids Childcarestaff must be dedicated in ensuring that each and every child develops to the very best of their potential.

This is a temporary role which starts in 06/06/23 and will end on 14/07/23. The hours are Monday to Friday 9am-3pm, the daily rate of pay is £70.00.


Requirements:

• Level 2/3 qualification in Childcare
• Previous experience of working with children aged between 0 3 years old
• Excellent knowledge of development of children aged between 0 3 years old
• Outstanding insight into the needs of young children
• Detailed understanding of the EYFS Curriculum
• Thorough understanding of Safeguarding and Welfare
• Comprehensive awareness of Health and Safety procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Current knowledge of play based approaches in relation to children's learning

Level 3 relevant to Early Years/Childcare

Mathematics

English

Desirable skills

• Enhanced DBS clearance on Update Service
• First Aid Training
• Food Hygiene
• Safeguarding
