XYZ Reality is a construction tech start-up based in London and we are currently looking for a talented, passionate full-time UX researcher.- We are on a path to revolutionising the construction industry, and we are developing an exciting Engineering-grade platform, capable of positioning hyperscale models to millimetre accuracy.- As a UX researcher, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of our platform by identifying user needs, highlighting pain points and uncovering key user insights.- You will be evaluating cutting-edge hardware and software products, helping our wider team of engineers, computer scientists and designers understand how to best iterate their work to meet the needs of our end users.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and conducting both explorative and evaluative research to inform the design and development of the XYZ software, hardware, including their ergonomics and safety features.
Processing the outputs of user research and synthesizing findings to effectively communicate priorities to the wider UX team
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team with an agile mindset that allows you to support the iterations of our UX prototypes

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Degree in HCI / Cognitive Psychology / Human Factors / Sociology/ Computer Science or related field, and / or relevant work experience
Experience conducting research using qualitative and quantitative methods to identify user needs and understand user behaviour, needs and motivations
Experience with communicating research findings in a compelling way so that user needs and usability issues are clearly understood by the team
Ability to identify the root causes of a problem or human behaviour and to support that with evidence coming from research
Commercial awareness and willingness and ability to travel nationwide and overseas
