    Our new strength-based vision for social care, Living Better Lives in Lancashire, aims to support people to achieve their goals and live independently in a place they consider home. As a Social Worker with us, you will play a key role in helping us deliver this vision.

    We are seeking a permanent, full-time Social Worker to work across Lancashire, providing holistic, face-to-face Care Act Assessments, reviews and support planning using a strengths-based approach.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Conducting assessments and reviews to identify the needs and goals of service users;
    • Developing and implementing support plans that enable individuals to achieve their optimum level of independence;
    • Working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services;
    • Providing emotional support and empathy to service users and their families;
    • Participating in regular supervision and contributing to team development.
