BRIEF JOB SUMMARY

HOURS OF WORK
Full time positions: 37.5 hours per week

  • 8:00am 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 8:00am 1:30pm Friday

OBJECTIVE:


This role covers the responsibilities of planning and requesting of raw materials and components which includes manual dexterity and the ability to deliver on time to meet manufacturing requirements.


KEY TASKS:


  • Liaise with Supervisors, Lead Operators, Production QA's and Manufacturing Technicians to ensure the supply of materials, components, and consumables are delivered on request.
  • Adhere to the production plans and inform Supervisor of any unforeseen issues.
  • Analyze production activity to ensure raw materials are arranged and requested on time.
  • Highlight any key issues and report back to Department Supervisor.
  • Clearly communicate across departments to meet manufacturing demands.
  • Works order dekitting are completed promptly and accurately following line clearance.
  • Safely and securely transport materials, components, and consumables in a safe and efficient manner around the Cleanroom.
  • Preform high levels of inspection on inward materials, components, and consumables, checking all levels of identification is present, accurate, correct and corresponds with works order via the internal system.
  • Process rejection on in process materials, components, consumables when appropriate.
  • Deliver a strong understanding of the importance of segregation.
  • Maintaining a high level of timekeeping.
  • Maintain housekeeping to a high standard to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Remove all waste from area; general, plastic, packaging, cores.
  • High level of enthusiasm and interpersonal skills.
  • Work towards achieving a target of 100% accuracy.
  • To assist machine device assemblers on automated assembly line or packing station at times when primary role is fulfilled.

REQUIREMENTS

Computer/IT - Comply to internal and External IT operating systems
, record keeping for all machines and processes they oversee, which requires proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.


Communication - Verbal and listening skills to ensure efficient transfer of information between team members. Confident to address and troubleshoot problems (keeping in mind that these might be high-pressure situations and need to keep calm under pressure).


Documentation - Written skills are important, maintain accurate and clear documentation that proves manufacturing is being carried out in accordance with both internal and external quality systems or regulations. It is important that procedures are followed, but it is also important that it can be shown and proved that procedures were followed.


Measurement - Monitor and perform routine inspections for identifying when components will be required and acting to deliver and meet production demands. Monitoring the output of automated assembly line or station.


Reporting - Provide relevant feedback to highlight any key issues to Department Supervisor, Production QA and/or Manufacturing Technician which could/will develop into delays or plan changes.


Attention to detail - Follow strict internal protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Know the manufacturing process in detail, troubleshooting at a trained level and informing senior members of the team to raise corrective actions.


Flexible - to work at either our Lancaster (White Cross) or Morecambe (White Lund) site
