Description
No two days are the same and you'll be busy all day keeping the operation ticking over You will be supporting our cleaning team with linen delivery/collection, garbage/recycling management, basic gardening and any other support requirements.
You will be required to carry out any other additional tasks during the course of the working day, in preparation for guests' arrival to our properties.
You will be expected to assist with any property renovation work carried out by the business from time to time.
As the business caters to guests staying within our properties, you will be part of the out of hours "On Call Rota" which deals with guests issues during their stay.
Keen can-do attitude required - you will need to be organised, diligent, trustworthy and capable of managing your own workload.
In the fast-paced environment, you will be expected to be adaptable to any tasks that crop up in the course of daily operations.
Due to the nature of the business, Sunday working is required.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Completing daily tasks on our task management software
- Assist all Operational departments in the business with tasks to have properties guest ready.
- Using your initiative when approaching tasks.
- Depot work before and after daily tasks to ensure smooth running of the day/ week
- Responsible for vehicles
- Responsible for laundry
- Stock check for maintenance supplies
- Reporting of issues within properties and recording timings and stock used for maintenance repairs.
Experience & Required Skills
- Have previous experience in maintenance
- As it's a fastpaced environment it can be physically demanding on busier days
- Driving licence essential van can be provided if 21 years plus with a driving licence held for 12 months/ or mileage paid if using own transport.
- Ability to work quickly with little supervision whilst maintaining a high level of quality
- Adaptability to change and a willingness to adopt new processes and ideas
- Ability to think on your feet and adapt to evolving and pressured situations is a must.
- Customeroriented and friendly
- Prioritisation and time management skills
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to work well within the maintenance team and communicate with Supervisor/Manager.
- £11 per hour PAYE rising to £11 after 3 month probationary period
- On Call Rota
- Company contribution to NEST Pension scheme
- Access to company vehicle or mileage for use of own vehicle
