Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join a fantastic alternative provision in West London.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational needs of students in various settings.

Duties:

Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of regular teachers
Deliver preprepared lessons and ensure students remain engaged and focused
Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Support students with special education needs, including those with autism
Provide oneonone assistance to students who require additional support
Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their personal and academic development
Assist with the implementation of behavior management strategies
Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning

Skills:

Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students and colleagues
Knowledge or experience in special education to support students with diverse needs
Ability to work with individuals on the autism spectrum, providing appropriate guidance and support
Strong educational background, with experience working with children or tutoring
Mentoring skills to inspire and motivate students
Creativity in delivering lessons, incorporating activities such as creative writing exercises
