About The Role


Our Client is focused on the design, build and maintenance of telecom infrastructure for key clients in the fixed telecom market.

- term partnerships. They are part of the Telecom Division of a Group of companies. They deliver a range of essential infrastructure services to the utilities, transport, data and telecom sectors across the UK and Ireland.


Smart City Recruiters Ltd are currently looking to recruit a 3-man poling team to be based in Hampshire covering our South contract.

As a member of the poling team your duties & responsibilities will be:

  • Installation and removal of poles, including dressing new poles.
  • Replacing/renewing existing dropwires
  • Replacing/renewing overhead and UG joints in the Openreach fibre and copper network
  • Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with Service Level Agreements
  • Undertaking works in accordance with Health and Safety legislation, company and client Health and Safety standards

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

  • Must be able to do provides and D poles.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Pole Erection Unit and HIAB experience
  • Class 2 CPC (Driver)
  • NRSWA Accredited
