Objectives:

Responsibilities:

Steward good practise environmental and safety management (EHS) on operational sites.
Deliver training to workforce on environment and sustainability related topics.
Be responsible for coordinating and recording emergency response drills.
Support ISO14001 and 45001 certifications by liaising at audit and maintaining the framework of H&W's EHS standards, policies, procedures and guidance.
Carry out environmentfocussed internal audits in line with the audit schedule, with additional audits required if risk deteriorates and concerns raised.
Investigate environmental incidents on site or supporting the investigation team with specialist knowledge.
Maintain linkages with industry peers, current and potential customers, regulators and policymakers in the environmental area to allow early warning and effective adoption of changes and developments
Maintain own CPD to develop and keep current own levels of practise excellence.
Support bid and tender work where specialist environmental insight and expertise are required.
Complete all necessary administrative responsibilities.

Qualifications

Successfully completion Further education level.
Hold Advisor IEMA membership with up to date CPD or hold Associate membership and be working towards becoming a practitioner.
Ability to undertake a HSE qualification as development of role.
