Randalls Park Crematorium is looking for a professional and compassionate individual to join our collaborative and dedicated team as a Head Groundsperson

What Will I Be Doing As A Head Groundperson?

  • Ensure consistent delivery of the highest levels of client service and provision of all aspects of 'Serving our Local Communities.
  • Be aware of and sensitive to the needs of bereaved people
  • Ensure creativity but sensitivity with the design, construction of memorial gardens and where appropriate, utilisation of space
  • Carry out inspections of all new memorials and graves to ensure correct location, orientation and quality standards
  • Performance management of direct reports with emphasis on the provision of consistently highquality client service
  • Suggest refinements and improvements in client service to the Business Leader

What Do I Need?

  • Health & Safety awareness to include risk assessments and method statements
  • Horticultural qualifications to National Diploma Standards (Desirable)
  • Skills and knowledge of professional landscape maintenance
  • Willing to attend a Cremator Technicians training course (Essential)
  • Is comfortable with manual handling tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail is (Essential)
  • Proven team management experience
