Role Overview
You will be responsible for providing 2nd line support to three schools in the Bishop Stortford area. You will ensure that all IT queries within the schools are handled and resolved efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Network Manager with the strategic development of IT support and resources. Provide advice, support, training, and assistance with repairing ICT equipment used across sites.
Support all school staff and students with first and secondline support.
Escalate problems when necessary.
Manage data security, backup procedures, disaster recovery plans, and other systems.
Keeping all IT documentation up to date.
Maintaining the school's databases is operating at the highest standard.
Respond to and resolve help desk tickets, escalating complex issues as needed, and proactively identifying and resolving problems as they arise.
Put forward ideas to improve the functionality of the school's IT systems.
Ensure that enduser hardware and software solutions are configured, installed, and tested.

Requirements/Experience:

Experience working within a similar IT Support role in a school environment.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, MS Office Suite, Microsoft Exchange, Wireless Administration, Print Management, Apple, and Chrome OS.
Own vehicle and a clean driving licence. Some travel to other Trust schools may be required (mileage paid)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of IT Service desk systems and the handling of incidents
