At Bath & North East Somerset Council we have one overriding purpose to improve people's lives.


We are looking for a Support Worker to be based in one of our Community Resource Centres at Cleeve Court on a part time basis on permanent contract.


This role involves a rota system which includes early and late shifts and working every other weekend with some bank holidays for which enhancements are paid.


The Cleeve Court offers a supportive atmosphere which is in Twerton, Bath delivering residential/ dementia care, and this is easily accessible via public transport or car.


As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing.
  • Promote resident's independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering the best standards of care.
  • Adhere to and complete accurate and timely records of the care and support provided to residents.
  • Providing support to access third party and NHS services.
  • Be a strong team player and work on own initiative when needed.
  • Promote positive lifestyle choices, offering individuals the opportunity and motivation to achieve their best.


Previous experience of working in care would be an advantage, but a commitment to deliver quality care is essential and full training will be provided.
