Experienced Garden maintenance operative required/team leader in the Stockport area.

We currently have an opportunity available for someone in the Stockport area to join our garden maintenance round.

We're hoping to expand in 2024 with the right team so its essential we find a motivated individual hungry to work within a growing business.

Applicant must be hardworking, reliable, punctual, polite and willing to work in all weather conditions.

We specialize in Garden maintenance for the bigger than average sized garden. We also maintain grounds and gardens for properties such as retirement homes & flats.

Jobs that will be required of applicant
- mowing using self driven rotary petrol mower (typically honda/hayter)
- correctly using a petrol strimmer for grass edges
- weeding and border work
- hedge trimming using petrol hedge cutters.
- pruning
- general plant/weed knowledge
- leaf and debris clearing using petrol blower, rake & brush etc.

• Occasionally carrying out visits on jobs alone.

Requirements of applicant
- uk driving license

• Experience in garden maintenance.
• Any knowledge on plants and petrol tools.

- must be prepared to work in all weather conditions all year round in a team or occasionally alone.
- abilities to communicate well with customers and work colleagues.

Typical working hours

• 8am4/5pm

Days required

Monday, Thursdays & Fridays possibly going full time in spring 2024

Wages paid weekly
Hourly pay £ £12.50
