Job Purpose

Lead a significant and diverse portfolio of tax clients.
Oversee the deliverables of junior tax staff, providing constructive mentorship and nurturing talent through knowledge sharing.
Champion professional development for junior staff, inspiring the team around you.
Preparation of tax computations, including complex matters.
Provide sound technical knowledge across tax work, offering trusted advisory.
Work closely with Partners to support the firm's strategic direction, networking and scoping for new business opportunities.
Build trusted and longlasting client relationships, being their goto senior advisor.
Set an example as a natural leader.
Provide tax support to other departments across the firm.

The Successful Applicant

ATT, CTA, or STEP qualified with extensive tax experience within practice.
Previous experience overseeing and motivating a team.
Sound working knowledge of technical tax matters.
An uptodate understanding of UK accounting standards.
Excellent IT skills and knowledge.
Natural leadership skills.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail.
Able to lead a team with effective project management.
