Renewables Project Estimator

We are looking for a motivated and organised individual that has technical knowledge of electrical systems, to allow them to price up renewable projects based on customer questionnaires, plans or technical surveys.

These projects will include technology such as; Solar PV, Battery Storage, Electric Vehicle charging and other cutting edge equipment. The projects will initially be on a domestic scale with a view to expand things into the commercial sector.

The role will involve using our SimPro management software to construct project prices and keep the software up to date with price fluctuations, new products and pre-build kits.

Training on the management system will be provided but the applicant must have a good knowledge of how electrical systems are put together, including the basic components such as; distribution boards, isolators and cables and what is involved in their installation.

This knowledge does not have to be directly related to renewable systems as this can be picked up during the training.

The role may also include site visits to assist with surveys and to build knowledge on the systems that we install.

Therefore, a valid UK driving licence is preferred.

There are excellent progression prospects with future plans to have a design and pricing team which this applicant would be critical to.

The role offers flexible working hours, all computer equipment, uniform and home desk equipment (if required).

We are also flexible with working from home although some office working will be required at our HQ in Elvington, York.

The role comes with the following:

• Salary of £30,000
• £50,000 (depending on experience)
• 22 days holiday entitlement plus bank holidays
• Company profit share scheme
• Full time placement (40 hours that can be taken over 7 days)
• Pension
