Description

Our Events coordinator is an energetic, organised team player with a strong commitment to guest relations and efficient coordination who thrives on creative, daily celebration.

Responsible for the coordination and execution of birthday party programs and assigned special events for members and guests.

Responsible for preparing birthday parties on a weekly basis. The coordinator will be the lead birthday buddy and train/assist additional birthday buddies as needed. Must be available 5/7 day especially weekends. The Events Coordinator reports to the Events Manager.


What you'll typically be doing:
Birthday Parties

  • Responsible for coordinating birthday party programming including evaluation of seasonal themes, purchasing, decor, and designing party packages
  • Coordinate and deliver birthday buddy training
  • Oversee regular ordering & supply inventory
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively with catering teams to ensure a positive and fun guest experience
Special Event Planning

  • Plan, coordinate, and evaluate all ticketed programs.
  • Sustain and grow current seasonal events.
  • Assist Manager with camp program deliverables for all school break camp offerings
  • Communicate event details with marketing and development departments for copywriting needed for advertising

Responsibilities:


  • Cooperatively work with Marketing Team to develop promotional engaging creative for promotional material that best represents the intended event or program
  • Work cooperatively with Reservationist to ensure bookings and sales language is clear and strong
  • Initiate monthly reports on sales, and relevant metrics to continuously evaluate return on investment

Our P&E events co-ordinator is:
- able to communicate effectively and articulately
- team oriented and organised
- proficient with the Google and Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Power Point and Excel
- entrepreneurial & Creative with a eye for detail
- strong in data and analysis skills and a proven ability to use metrics to drive decisions and achieve strategic objectives.
- a confident and articulate communicator with the ability to work fluidly across all levels.
- have an unquestioned and authentic passion for creating extraordinary experiences for children and families.
