Description
We are looking to attract an experienced trainer to join our award winning Learning and Development Team.


We are very proud of the professional engaging training we provide to our employees to support them in providing excellent personalised care and support for our residents.


We are looking for an experienced trainer to be based within the central belt of Scotland region covering from Glasgow to Ayr.

You will be part of the Meallmore L&D team and report to the Learning and Development Manager.


You will be responsible for working with the Care Home Managers and Area Manager to assess learning needs, and actively delivering high quality and engaging training both within the care home and virtually as well as supporting new staff at Induction.


Ideally you will:


  • Be an experienced qualified nurse or Senior Care Worker with experience of working in the care home sector
  • Possess a recognised training qualification
  • Be passionate and caring about what you do
  • Have experience of training people in your previous role/s in topics such as:
  • Moving and Positioning
  • Person centred care and care planning
  • Medication Management


You must have a full UK driving licence and the use of a car as travel is required within your region as well as occasions out with your region to attend meetings/training and support other L&D Facilitators.

Salary:
Up to £17.19 per hour (depending on experience)

Hours:37.5 Hours per week, over 5 days, predominantly Monday to Friday with one weekend day per month

Central West Region of Scotland
