North London

£45,000 - £60,000

The Firm
My client is a successful, long-established regional practice with an enviable reputation.

This North London firm takes on a supportive role within the local community, whilst also providing a professional legal service.

The firm's clients vary from individualsto companies, and the teams are constantly dealing with new work.

Due to continued growth and the amount of work coming in, this North London firm is looking to expand their team by adding a Legal Accounts Manager to their team.

They are offering a competitive salary, which is negotiable dependent on experience and there are great progression opportunities.

The Role of a Legal Accounts Manager - North London:

Processing Client and Office transactions, banking transactions and all ledgers
Management of Firm's bank accounts to include reconciliation and all internal procedures
Aiding with the control of costs and overheads
Develop the annual operating budget
Manage firm's payroll
Carry out all necessary actions to ensure that the Firm meets its financial and legal obligations
Forecast capital requirements
Line Manager for all Finance Staff
Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies, and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the Firm
Producing relevant management information including monthly management accounts, KPl's
Management of and adherence to Legal Aid protocols in conjunction with appropriate Partner
VAT Returns & Inspections
Provide financial input to business initiatives and monitoring of business plans

Skills & Qualifications for the Legal Accounts Manager - North London:

Extensive experience of Legal Accounts
Deal with a high degree of legacy issues
Suspicious Activity Reports
Anti Money Laundering Experience
AAT / ACA / ACCA / CIMA preferred however the firm will consider someone who has qualified by experience
