Warehouse Operative13:00 - 21:00 (Monday - Friday)

Salary:
TBC - (Depending on Experience)
You MUST be able to provide 5 years references from previous employment/education, also written explanation for any gaps in employment which are over 28 days. Clean DBS check.
The Individual
-
Must have 5 years warehousing airfreight experience:
- Must ensure correct security procedures are adhered to.
- Must have a "Can Do Attitude", and be presentable and polite.
- Must be good at listening and assimilating information and be flexible and open minded.
- Must be able to work beyond normal hours and do overtime when and if required.
- Must be competent in driving FLT, manual handling, loading & unloading vehicles.
Desirable Skills:
-
Cargo Operative Aviation Security or above (We will provide training if required):
- ADR Trained
- Good IT skills
Dangerous Goods experience:
- First aid at work*
Duties would include, but not limited to: -
Loading and Unloading vehicles: - Manual Handling
- Organise airline transfer freight.
- Identify & label freight.
- working to deadlines.
- Collating documents.
- Organising teams of up to 10 drivers.
- Reporting to management.
Checking Cargo Manifests:
- Working to tight deadlines
- Liaising with the Operations Department
- Administer Security Protocols as directed by the Security Manager
- Ensure that Health & Safety Protocols are adhered to
Working Hours: - Monday
- Friday (14:00 22:00)
Job Types:
Permanent, Full-time
Salary:
£11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
