Islamic Relief UK (IRUK) is actively recruiting for the position of 'Multimedia Content Producer' to be based from its Waterloo Office, London.

The organisation is currently operating to a hybrid working model.


Job Purpose:


  • To be responsible for delivering high quality, innovative and expressive multimedia content specifically for communications channels (the media, social media, website and digital media outlets) that reflect IRUK's work on a national and international level.
  • To support the media team in gaining digital media coverage for IRUK's work and activities by delivering impactful content packages for digital media, including the production of Video News Releases (VNRs).
  • To deliver innovative content, using inhouse extensive video production and editing skills to create engaging channel specific assets.
  • To provide insight into content consumption behaviour and analyse trends that emerge.
  • Sound knowledge and experience of film making practices at preproduction, production and postproduction stages
  • Proven track record of producing highly engaging and creative multimedia content for a variety of platforms including social media, TV and Youtube for a multitude of audiences
  • Photography and videography content gathering and shoots experience in the UK or overseas to meet creative briefs with sound knowledge of AV and photography production Experience in artistic production of video titles and graphically animated sequences
  • Excellent communication skills (listening/speaking) with experience of using communication tools to manage client and colleague relationships during the delivery of successful multimedia creatives
  • Creative flair with the ability to lead on ideas and concepts for client briefs from inception to final product
  • Hands on technical experience of operating a range of photography and video hardware, cameras, tripod, lighting, sound equipment
  • Proficient user of Adobe Creative Suites, including Premier Pro and Photoshop with a proven creative flair to introduce new and emerging trends within multimedia content delivery
  • A working and uptodate knowledge of professional broadcasting practices and standards
- with content gathering through both photography and videography

  • Solid understanding of web base leadership technologies and the major trends, challenges and opportunities affecting web communication and social media
  • Able to lead by example on best practices including ethical imagery, ethical storytelling and content storing
  • Ability to conceptualise, write and direct stories for videos
  • Excellent research skills to successfully market video products aimed at IR's diverse donor base
  • Passionate about development work with some knowledge of Islamic humanitarian values
  • An ability to manage multiple demands/projects
  • Results focused with an ability to plan and deliver against objectives
