Overview

Our client is a firm of chartered accountants and registered auditors, based in London.

Due to their current growth plans, they are looking for an Accountant to support their senior team with a wide range of accounting duties.

About the role

This role would suit aprofessionalindividual, looking to take the next step in their career.

Reporting to the Head of Department, the Accountant will provide valuable support with accounting work, VAT returns and a number of key administrative tasks.

Key aspects of the role include:

Ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day business management;
Preparing yearend accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies;
Preparing VAT returns;
Assisting the accountants and Head of Department with ad hoc projects;
Maintaining the books and records for bands, touring companies and sole traders;
Managing clients cash flow, raising sales invoices and debtor collections.

The ideal person

The position would suit an excellent communicator, who is able to prioritise their workload. The person can work to tight deadlines and produce accurate work whilst under pressure.
